Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for your comments. I agree with you, and I&#039;m not familiar with Colin Tipping outside of this particular quote, so my worldview may or may not generally line up with his. 

Certainly we know there is evil in the world, and that there has been since the fall of man. But as you suggest, God can choose to allow a specific evil, or not, according to His permissive will. 

We know Who wins, and He allows only those things that ultimately satisfy His purpose.

		<description>Hey Lisa, I don&#039;t buy Tipping&#039;s premise. Just because something ends up working for good doesn&#039;t obviate its intrinsic evil. Ultimately, we know that &lt;em&gt;all&lt;/em&gt; things work together for the good of those who love God (Rom 8:28). There isn&#039;t any evil that doesn&#039;t occur for a reason in the Christian worldview—as if God would allow evil purely for its own sake. But it sure doesn&#039;t follow from this that there&#039;s no evil at all in the Christian worldview!
